About your information
Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This policy covers lookfor.space and the experiences published on it, including Flag Check. We describe the information needed to serve the site separately from optional measurements of how its public experiences are used. Private SiteFactory previews are not part of this public analytics service.
Who is responsible
The controller of the information described here is SIA Timata, registration number 40203669422, Pildas iela 50, Rīga, LV-1082, Latvia. Contact us at info@timata.lv about this policy or your data protection rights.
Your Flag Check answers
Flag Check calculates its reflection and result in your browser. Your answers, score and result are not submitted to SIA Timata or stored in our analytics database. You do not need to create an account or make a payment to use the current experience. The unlock shown in Flag Check is a demo, not a paid entitlement.
If you choose to share a result, your browser’s share feature or clipboard receives a short summary including the overall score and the public page link. Individual answers are not included. What you do with that summary, or how a chosen receiving service handles it, is outside this site’s control.
The feedback is generated from your choices on your device. We do not use your quiz answers to make decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects.
Other published experiences
Lookfor also publishes generated quizzes, tools and guides. Their current interactions run in your browser. The optional page-view analytics described below does not send the answers, inputs, results or scores you use within those experiences. If you choose a browser sharing feature, the receiving service handles what you decide to share under its own practices.
Site delivery and contact
When your device requests a page, technical connection data such as its IP address, the requested URL, request time and browser information may be processed by our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, to deliver and protect the site. We use this processing to operate a reliable and secure website, based on our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We do not store IP addresses in either event-count table described below. Technical service and security records are retained only for as long as needed for those purposes under the applicable Cloudflare service settings.
If you email us, we use the address, message and any details you choose to include to respond and handle necessary follow-up, based on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. We keep correspondence while it is needed for that purpose or where a legal obligation or dispute requires longer. Please do not send sensitive quiz details by email unless necessary for your request.
Analytics, cookies and browser storage
Optional first-party analytics count page opens across published Lookfor experiences by site and broad campaign label, such as tt01. In Flag Check, they also count starting the quiz, reaching a free insight and selecting the demo unlock. If you agree, your browser sends only an allowed event name, broad campaign label and, for generated sites, the published site’s short URL name to a same-origin endpoint. We store daily aggregate counts in Cloudflare D1: Flag Check counts by campaign and event, and other site page opens by site and campaign. These requests do not contain answers, inputs, results, scores, names, account IDs or persistent visitor IDs. Cloudflare still processes connection data when delivering each request.
These optional events are sent only after you affirmatively accept analytics. Consent is our legal basis for that collection under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Refusing or later withdrawing consent does not stop you using a published experience. We do not use analytics cookies or advertising cookies for this measurement.
One choice applies across the published experiences on this domain. To remember whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics, we store that choice and its expiry date in your browser’s localStorage for up to 180 days. This item contains no visitor identifier, is not sent to our server, and is used only to remember your privacy choice. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through Analytics choices in the Flag Check footer or the same control in a generated site’s footer. Clearing this browser storage also resets the choice, but is not the only way to change it. If browser storage is unavailable, you may be asked again on a later visit. Earlier Flag Check-only choices are not treated as agreement to analytics across all sites.
A daily cleanup is scheduled to delete active analytics counts older than 90 UTC calendar days from both aggregate tables. Cloudflare’s point-in-time recovery may retain earlier database states for a further limited period, depending on the account plan. Because the stored counts have no visitor identifier, we normally cannot isolate one person’s earlier contribution to a total.
This section describes Lookfor’s current analytics and consent technology. If we add another analytics or advertising service in the future, we will update this notice and review whether separate consent is needed before it operates.
Service provider and transfers
We use Cloudflare to host, deliver and protect the public site and to maintain the analytics database. The D1 database was created with EU data jurisdiction, but Cloudflare may use subprocessors and may process connection data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, its Data Processing Addendum provides transfer safeguards, including EU standard contractual clauses. We do not sell answers or inputs or share them with Cloudflare as analytics events.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the processing and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data; object to processing based on legitimate interests; or request portability. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Email info@timata.lv to make a request. Because our analytics table contains totals rather than visitor records, we may be unable to identify an individual contribution from that table, but we will assess and answer your request under applicable law.
You may also complain to Latvia’s supervisory authority, the Datu valsts inspekcija (Data State Inspectorate), or another competent data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the site or its data practices change. The date above shows the latest version. A material change to optional analytics will be reflected in the choice we present before collecting new events.
